How does the Inkless Paw Print Kit work?

It takes three simple steps. Press your pet's paw on the inkless pad, then press the paw on the special imprint card, and the print appears. That's all you need to do.

Tips for a clear print:

  • Start with a clean, dry paw.
  • Press firmly for 2–3 seconds on the pad, then on the imprint card.
  • Keep the second card as a spare try if you need it.

Is it mess-free? Does ink get on my pet's paw?

No ink touches the paw. The kit uses an inkless pad, so there's no ink to wipe off fur, floors, or furniture.

What's in the kit?

How many prints can I make?

Each kit comes with 2 imprint cards, so you can make 2 prints. Use the second card for a spare try, or give it as a gift. Want more prints? Our bundles are a good fit:

Does it work for both dogs and cats?

Yes. The kit works for dogs and cats. It's a lovely keepsake for a new puppy or kitten, a birthday, a memorial, or a gift for another pet lover.

Is a frame included?

No, a frame is not included. The kit includes the pad and imprint cards only.

How long does shipping take, and how much does it cost?

Shipping is free within the US. Orders are processed in 1–3 business days, and delivery takes 7–14 business days. Your order ships from our partner warehouse.

How can I track my order?

What is your return policy?

You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. If your item arrives damaged or defective, send us a photo and we'll replace it or refund you at no cost. For change-of-mind returns, the item must be unused, and you pay the return shipping. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. How does the inkless paw print kit work?

Lay the card on a flat surface and place the pad on top, clear film side up. Gently press your pet's paw onto the film, lift, and the print appears on the card underneath. The ink stays inside the pad, so the kit is designed to keep ink off paws.

Is it safe for my pet?

Your pet only touches the clear film, not the ink. Our supplier describes the materials as non-toxic. As with any product, please supervise your pet, don't let them chew or lick the pad or card, and wash your hands after use. If your pet has sensitive skin or a health condition, check with your vet first.

Does it work for large dogs and for cats?

It works for cats, puppies and most dogs. The pad is about 3.15 × 4.92 in (8 × 12.5 cm) and the card about 3.07 × 4.88 in (7.8 × 12.4 cm). Very large paws may print only partly. Centering the main pad and toes usually gives the nicest result. For cats and small pets, gently hold the paw and press for a second.

How many prints can I make?

Each print goes on its own imprint card. We don't promise a specific number of prints, because it depends on your pet, how many tries you need and how firmly you press. If you'd like prints for several pets, spares to give as gifts, or a second try, the 2- or 3-kit bundles are the easiest way to have extra.

Any tips for the best first print?

Choose a calm moment, after a walk or a nap is ideal. Make sure the paw is clean and dry, and trim long fur between the pads if needed. Have a helper and a few treats nearby. Press straight down gently and evenly for 1–2 seconds, then lift straight up without sliding.

Can I use it for more than one pet?

Each print uses its own card, so for more than one pet we suggest one kit per pet. That's exactly what the 2- and 3-kit bundles are for, and they cost less per kit.

When will my order arrive?

Orders ship in 1–3 business days and US delivery takes about 7–12 business days. You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships. Shipping is free on every US order.

Is a frame included?

No. Frames, display items and the box shown in some photos are for styling only and are not included. Packaging may vary. The print card is flat (about 3.07 × 4.88 in), so it's easy to frame, mat or add to a scrapbook.

What if my print doesn't turn out?

It happens, pets wiggle! Contact us within 30 days and we'll help with tips and send a replacement or give you a refund. That's our 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

Can I return it?

Yes. Unused kits can be returned within 30 days of delivery. If your order arrives damaged, email us a photo within 30 days and we'll make it right.

Does it make a good gift?

It's a lovely gift for new puppy or kitten parents, birthdays, holidays, or anyone who adores their pet. Delivery takes about 7–12 business days, so we recommend ordering early for special dates.

What if I need a print quickly?

Because delivery takes about 7–12 business days, our kit is best when you can plan ahead. If you need a print urgently, for example at the end of a pet's life, please ask your veterinarian. Many vets can offer a same-day paw print option.
